"The Melancholy" is a light novel of Tanigawa Nagaru. Kyoto Animation made the animation of this work in 2006. A theater version was made by Kyoto Animation called "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" in 2010.The story takes places in a fictional Nishinomiya, Hyogo prefecture, also the author's birthplace. The landscapes will look familiar with fans of the anime. This time, let's Tour of follow Hankyu Koyoen Line. Bakery that Team SOS was shelter from the rain

This is the bakery that Team SOS were waiting at, for the rain to stop. It appeared in Episode 19, 18 minutes 30 seconds.
Nowadays the shop exterior has changed. This shop is located close to KinoeYoen Station.
"We did the test of courage, watched some movies, went to the beach, bowling, even karaoke.
We were always doing something, always on the move.
And the whole time, all I could think was that none of that was going to be enough for Haruhi."

Nagato's apartment

This is Nagato's apartment. It first appeared in Episode 3, 23 minutes 42 seconds. Asakura lived in this apartment. She is alien, too.
It'a a short walk to the south from KinoeYoen station.
This is one of the most important Seichi for the Haruhi fans. However remember that it is not open to the public as there are people living in the apartment.

Railroad crossing that Haruhi began a monologue

Episode 5. Haruhi and Kyon find out that Asakura suddenly changed schools. They examined Asakura's apartment but were unable to find any clues. After leaving the apartment of Asakura, Haruhi crosses the railroad crossing. This crossing appeared in Episode 5, 8 minutes and 45 seconds. Here Haruhi began a monologue. "I realized fun things wouldn't come my way just while waiting for them."

This is the railroad bridge where Team SOS were waiting for the rain to stop in Episode 16 "Endless Eight" (20 minutes 13 seconds). This railroad crosses the Skukugawa.

Team SOS explored the city in search of mysterious phenomena. Kyon and Mikuru searched on the west side of the station. This park, "Shukugawa park" is one of the places where they went to search. it appeared in Episode 4, 12 minutes.
Here, Mikuru confessed to Kyon that she actually came from the future...!
This park also appeared in"The Adventures of Asahina Mikuru".
The nearest station is Hankyu Kurakuenguchi.
